After brunch, I'll be presenting my illustrated lecture based on "Jewish Home Cooking: Yiddish Recipes Revisited." It's a food culture, food history, nostalgia lecture, complete with menus and memorabilia from the Borscht Belt hotels. But I won't be able to resist throwing out some advice on chicken soup and kugel, among other iconic Yiddish dishes. Discussion follows the lecture, not to mention schmoozing.
